Britsome! We can now use some of our excessive computing power to make modern, easily-readable flat-screens looks as shitty as an early 80s TV hooked up to a computer with the processing power of a wristwatch.
And look at moving pictures. It’s like motion-blur-speedingly-fast:
Not to mention this effect which makes everything jump once in a while:
Also, an effect looking like my trusty old Commodore PC10-II:
The (original) machine was fitted with a after-market installed 20 MB hard drive. Later, I mounted another 20 MB hard drive for an impressive 40 MB total (plus a 360 kB 5 1/4″ floppy drive). I tried over-clocking the CPU to 5 MHz, but it became unstable, so I had to go down to the factory 4.77 MHz.
This is all made with the terminal emulator Cathode.
