Manual Work

Today, I did some cleaning around and further construction of the bar.  The latest picture of the bar I posted looks like this:

In the meantime, the fridge has been moved next to the back end, and some shelves have been half-installed.  I first mounted the shelves completely, and started filling them up:

Definitely a lot better. In the process, I did empty quite a few boxes:

I finished the back, mounting the glass-holders and emptying more boxes. Though the wine racks are supposed to eventually go on the wall, they look decently nice standing on the back here.  First from the same angle as the first two pictures…

…from the front…

…and from the front with the cabinets open.

Then I could get started with the front. The cabinet under the beer tap had to go so we can fit in barrels and the CO2 container. Dennis and his parents removed half of it, and I removed the rest using a slight trick that works for most IKEA furniture: be a tad overweight and step on it. I cleaned up the front, moved some glasses and moved more stuff around. This is the result:

That almost concludes the construction (and cleaning out the shed to make room for the rubbish, and clean the bar area as there was still dust from the previous round of construction).

The only things I can see missing are: the top of the front part (needs to be constructed and we need more IKEA shit for it), the backside (we have to improvise there), doing general electrics installation for lights and the beer tap, and adding lights over the top and the back.
