Very fruity nose, nice beer as should be expected from Brouwerij Liefde. Definitely Dutch beer at its best. Not the best Liefde, though, in my opinion. Would expect more from a 10% barley wine, and especially from the maker of Stoute Liefde and Intense Liefde. Sweet to the tongue and a mixed taste of various esters. No in-your-face taste or overly complex notes, but worth a try; I’d probably go for one of the classics instead, but that’s just my taste.
