Pleather: no longer just designating tacky plastic “leather” nobody should wear ever.
And with that betting starts: how long till I smash the screen the first time? and how many screens do I have to go thru before the next iPhone is released? For comparison, I think my iPhone 5S – which is my 3rd of that generation because it’s two predecessors died horrible deaths – went they something like 6 screens (with the last one having a couple cracks also), and the first incident happening within two weeks of purchase.
