The biggest crime is the lack of people dressed up as cats dressed up as dogs. They should have cut out all scenes with @RebelWilson and her terrible Jennyanydots if they were pressed for time (of if they weren’t; she was creepy as hell but not in a funny or weird fitting way).

The CGI wasn’t great; it was more creepy than weird, which doesn’t suite Cats. They tried to use the ears and tails to convey emotions, which is an interesting idea, but they obviously didn’t try hard enough.
