I’m no longer in academia, but know a lot of my FB friends teach either university or high school, so I’m just throwing this out there. Here’s a new revolutionary exam form that mirrors the real world: a multiple-choice exam comprised solely of sarcastic rhetorical questions.

Advantages: mirrors the real world with lots of seemingly different but at heart samey questions, the only winning move is not to play so the lazy ass who didn’t study and shows up late gets rated top, tests the students’ ability to recognize patterns (they won’t recognize them) and, most importantly, allows the teacher to use the guise of sarcasm to tell their honest opinion about students.

Disadvantages: a bullet to the head is still a more efficient and fun way to treat students.
