The CGI wasn’t great; it was more creepy than weird, which doesn’t suite Cats. They tried to use the ears and tails to convey emotions, which is an interesting idea, but they obviously didn’t try hard enough.

They even had Victoria as a framing device and dialog explaining everything. The songs are a bit anemic; more singers and fewer famous people, please. @taylorswift13 was great, and I didn’t hate @IAMJHUD (though having to emote dramatically after each suing line was annoying).
