Worse than Windows 3.11. I made sure to install no updates, but I don’t think I’m gonna get and virus problems, because I spent something like half an hour unsuccessfully trying to install a network adaptor and get on the Internet.

Glad that you try retro operating systems Michael:)
I also tried years ago to install Windows 95 on a very old laptop… with diskettes! It took very long, but it was successful! Yay! And working very very slooooow… But we had more time in 1995 than now hehe.
I also prefer Win 3.11… for the simple GUI.
And I also love the IBM AS/400 look, too! Like this one, with THIS font: https://support2000.magic-inc.com/docs/JDEInteg/Siebel-CRM-0n-Demand-JD-Edwards-Integration-AS400.jpg
😉
Heh, I actually wanted something more obscure than Win 95, but already did OS/2 (something like 80 floppies!) and couldn’t find versions of more fun systems like BeOS or truly obscure ones like GEM.
I only had short times with AS/400 (luckily! 🙂 ), but in general non-GUI systems makes for boring screen shots, which is also why I didn’t go with some of the classics like DOS, Minix, Amoeba, or Linux (in one of the old versions, like SLS Linux 0.91, which was the first Linux I played around with). Maybe VMS is obscure enough that even the textual UI is fun…
