Today marks the 81st anniversary of the end of the darkest period in US history. A period lasting 13 years, in which happiness was scarce and organized crime raided the country. This effectively came to an end with the Cullen-Harrison Act on April 7, 1933, and life has been good ever since. Happy end-of-prohibition day!
