Why do people accept to be part of a program committee if they can’t even bother to write a fucking low-effort review? Why do I always bother to put in 4-5 hours for each paper when most put in less combined? Why do I even bother doing this when I’m not working in academia anymore?

It just bothers me so, to see people not bothering with a simple job with 10 months advance notice when I put in effort to the point that I spend 2 weekends on it.
