Well, that escalated quickly. I went from “the water mixer in my shower is a bit annoying and it bugs me I cannot listen to WSJ in the shower” to “I wonder if I can get some sort of shower controlled by an iPhone” to “I should get something like the Grohe F-digital Deluxe Private Spa or Moen ioDigital.”

I see absolutely no down-side to combining electronics and water for my monthly hygiene endeavors, especially not if I can control it with my phone from the comfort of my own bathroom.
