This morning, the semi-random feature of my phone served me one of the turn-of-the-millennium pop treats: girl groups using the scary allure of the budding internet as a metaphor for nascent love. Case in point, Britter’s previous group, Innosense’s, “www.fan-ta-see” or eyeQ’s “The World Outside My Door.” The dot-com bubble period was a weird time for music. (Looking for a link, I found the Innosense song is apparently sufficiently obscure it’s not on Youtube…) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-HQ50YEYH2I
