During my own brief stint with the STEM faculties, I myself may have made one or two snide remarks about the simplicity of the curricula of the social sciences (oxymoron!), but now I can see the wrong of my past ways.
For just one year of study, at half load even, I have to deal with TWO books of almost 700 pages combined. That’s twice as many as one book and almost ten times a comic book.
While the pointsize of the typeface would make even an essay-extending high-schooler blush with shame, replacing easy to grasp equations by color photographs is sure to embiggen the workload.
There’s no less than 2 written assignments every semester. That’s 1000 assignments over the short period of 250 years!
