Have you ever read an app release notes in reverse? The latest Facebook update comes with release notes:

“Thanks for using Facebook! To make our app worse for you, we bring downgrades to the App Store regularly.

Every downgrade of our Facebook app includes deteriorations of speed and reliability. As old features become unavailable, we’ll hide those from you in the app.”

First: it’s very hard to decide whether this describes the process of going from a newer version to an older one, or vice versa.

Second: Facebook is now at version 96. It’s not really the best thing ever, and going back almost 100 versions with a nearly identical release notes, I can only conclude that the one digit versions must have been literally Hitler if Hitler were an App.
