Who do people celebrate regardless of gender? It’s very, VERY likely to be either a boy or a girl.

If it were, say, an aged whisky or a unicycle it would be cause for celebration. If it’s a boy or a girl, the proper is “meh, it’s one of the two most prevalent genders for human children.”
