Spending the day sick in bed has allowed me to come up with good retorts to the project leader favorite “there is no ‘i’ in ‘team’.”

The classic answer, of course, is “there’s no ‘u’ either,’ followed by firing the perpetrator if you have the power/cannon to do so. Does make you sound a bit like the 5th idiot of the day to answer the job interview question about one’s weak side with “my biggest problem is probably that I just work too damn hard.”

Instead, I propose this new and original answer: “there is, however, an ‘i’ in ‘Nazi,’ so perhaps we shouldn’t glean our development strategy from random look-ups in Webster’s.”

On the one hand, this might not exactly be a very productive day, but on the other hand, nobody can be unhappy with the result.
