Apparently, the collective noun for “drones” is “congregation,” though that seems to be for the male bee type of drones.
I think helicopterier drones are more crow-like, so the collective for the electronic kind of drones should be murder. “Is that a murder drones coming straight at us?” Yeah!
Similarly, there’s no accepted collective noun for “robots,” so I propose killing. “Look at that killing robots hurrying towards the orphanage!” Feels right and makes you really appreciate pronouncing the plural s.
Some years ago, there was a vote that decided (ignoring first place which was boring) that a collective of security vulnerabilities should be “Windows.”
This has been your daily uselessness of collective noun facts (is the collective for “facts” “uselessness?” It should be; somebody, call Merriam-Webster.)
