This week in psychology is about artificial intelligence.

It sits at that intersection of cringe of a professor emeritus thinking their knowledge in math magically makes them philosophy hot shots, intersected with the intellectual insufficiency of the 8bit guy theorizing he could build an AI in his basement given 10-20 years if he just thought really hard about it.

Its like being at an exam or reading a technical article in a mainstream media: you’re being told things you know by people who obviously don’t.
