Why do Britons seem to think tonight’s election is between a “bad” deal and a good deal, when in fact it is between a “bad” deal and a terrible deal?

Also, the people calling the deal bad are the same people who 2 years told about how Brexit would mean free money, jobs, and NHS for everybody – except those yucky (((foreigners))).
