The advantage of Dutch cuisine

The advantage of Dutch cuisine ((I use the term cuisine very loosely here.)) being very close to the Danish ditto is that while it may take two hours to make from scratch, I can still find the ingredients to make patty shells (tarteletter).

I must admit, though, that I did not make the puff pastry (butterdej/bladerdeeg) from scratch, though that stems more from a desire to not consciously acknowledge 50% of that is butter.

The disadvantage of Dutch cuisine ((I use the term cuisine very loosely here.)) being very close to the Danish ditto is that it is pretty close to Danish cuisine ((I use the term cuisine very loosely here.)).
