The internet in three simple analogies.

1) Sharing George Takei posts is pretty much like sharing ventral diseases: while passing it on may be fun, it doesn’t mean you should and that it will be appreciated by the receiver.

2) Sharing 9gag/boredpanda/collegehumor/…; well after the forties the saying went that just because everybody else was a nazi didn’t make it a good idea and won’t let the future think well of you.

3) Things that are deep: holes in the ground. Things that are not deep: you for sharing IFLS’ stolen fart jokes under the guise of being scientific.
