Siri is mostly useless except for setting alarms, but that is just because setting alarms on the iPhone is such a PITA that even struggling with Siri is worth it.
I tested the German version and must conclude: German Siri is not German. It does not understand the two most basic German sentences (and the two sentences in German that comprise 80% of my spoken German). Also, scroll down for offensive bonus link.
